Call For Applications: The Professional Fellows Program 2025

The Professional Fellows Program on Inclusive Civic Engagement is back, and taking place in spring 2025. 

It is a prestigious five-week educational and cultural exchange fellowship funded by the US Department of State and implemented by the Institute for Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and the African Disability Forum.

The program aims to support disability leaders from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia in exchanging and implementing best practices for inclusive civic engagement.

Participants in the Professional Fellows Program will have the opportunity to:
• Engage in intensive training sessions on inclusive leadership and civic engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with professionals and experts in disability rights and inclusion.
• Participate in hands-on experiences and site visits to organizations and institutions promoting inclusivity.
• Develop a network of like-minded individuals committed to advancing disability rights and inclusion in their community and beyond.
